NEO NIKOLOVSKI

Neo’s beginnings in acting date back to when he was just four years old, when he gave his first major performance at the Skopje tavern “LeMond” in Aerodrom. In the years that followed, his passion for acting continued to develop through theater school, where he performed in various recitals, theatrical productions, and plays. Performing in front of an audience—and experiencing their positive response to his work—became a crucial inspiration for him to continue pursuing acting.

During high school, Neo found inspiration in the great works of world literature and drama, including Nikolai Gogol’s The Government Inspector, Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables, Franz Kafka’s The Trial, Fyodor Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment, and William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and The Merchant of Venice, among many others.

Neo Nikolovski earned his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles campus.

His professional training includes Scene Study, Meisner Technique, Acting for Film, Voice and Speech, Chekhov Technique, From Stage to Screen, Improvisation, Shakespeare, Voice-Over, and the Alexander Technique.

Neo has performed at the prestigious Actors Studio in Los Angeles in Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, portraying the protagonist, Angel Cruz.

At the Victory Theatre, Neo performed leading roles in Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge and Airport, a production for which he was also one of the contributing writers.

At the Hudson Theatre, he appeared in John Patrick Shanley’s Italian American Reconciliation, playing Huey.

During his time at the New York Film Academy, Neo performed in numerous theatrical productions, including:

Neo is currently working on the crime drama The Witness, in which he plays the lead role of Tony, a high-profile mobster forced to choose between his morality and his life.

Neo’s film credits also include The Gambler, Closer, Perfume, Woman, The Last Birthday, Park, Why Rush, and Sandwich.
